Handmade market: Zelfgemaakt

For my Belgian readers ... there´s a fun handmade market coming up this weekend. "Zelfgemaakt" takes place this Saturday, November 3rd, at Jeugdhuis De Bogaard in Geel. There will be live music, Jamaican food and of course lots of handmade jewelry and vintage finds. I am looking forward to it!

Happy Halloween!

Handmade market: Kwestie van (s)maak

To my Belgian readers ...

I want to introduce a new handmade market in Belgium: Kwestie van (s)maak. Kwestie van (s)maak, which means "It´s a matter of taste" is a unique market offering its visitors a big variety of handmade products as well as the possibility to taste local food and beverages.

All participants presenting their handmade crafts are young and creative. There is jewellery, tote bags, art, children´s books, postcards, baby t-shirts and much more to discover. A relaxed atmosphere, with DJ´s playing their old LP´s and enjoying the, hopefully, beautiful weather with a fresh Belgian beer.

The first edition of Kwestie van (s)maak will take place on 28 May from 12 pm to 6 pm.

Toast & Jam in Pictures

I quickly want to share some pictures from the Toast & Jam Vintage Fair which took place during last week´s Fashion Week in Berlin. The Vintageblues shared a beautiful stand together with Karin from Common Vintage. Although the fair was pretty crowded, there was such a relaxed atmosphere and everyone could enjoy the pretty vintage pieces while listening to a blues band playing and sipping from a coffee. Such a perfect Saturday!

Thank you all for visiting us and for your lovely comments!

Toast & Jam Vintage Fair

Berlin Fashion Week started yesterday and one of the events I am most looking forward to is the Toast & Jam Vintage Fair. For the first time during fashion week, there will be a three day long vintage fair at Berlin-Tempelhof´s C-Club, where thirty vintage fashion vendors will present their clothing and accessories. Music, drinks and beautiful clothes, what more can we wish for?

On Thursday, January 19 at 5 pm there will be a fashion show and on Saturday night you can dance into the night during the closing party. It is worth a visit!
